Job Summary:
Exciting company with endless growth opportunities for the right candidate. We are looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician Field Supervisor to join our team! In this role, you will lead the management of other technicians on installs, service, or repair heating and air conditioning systems in commercial establishments. In addition you will also be expected to assist with the training and development of junior technicians and performing your own installs and services.

You have past experience in a supervisor or Senior HVAC technician role. A leader and team player who is comfortable working with different personalities, always stiving for improvements and take prides in completing customer jobs with efficiency. A positive attitude is a must! Compensation based on experience $45-$80 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of technicians
• Training and development of junior technicians
• Quality control of all installation and service performed by technicians
• Overall customer satisfaction and retention of clients
• Perform startup and commissioning of new systems incl RTU, VRF, splits, WSHP, DOAS, ERV
• Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling non-toxic refrigerants
• Perform troubleshooting of various equipment
• Diagnose problems and performance issues with equipment
• Work closely with manufactures and tech support
• Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction
• Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using a pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution
• Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring

Qualifications:

• Past experience as an Senior HVAC technician or Field Supervisor for min 5 years
• Valid Drivers License (Clean)
• OSHA 30 & SST Certification
• FDNY G60 & F60
• EPA Certification
• Experience with operation and maintenance of chillers, heat pumps, air handlers, and geothermal systems
• Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds
• Certification for working on Mitsubishi, Daikin, Aaon, LG & other manufactures a plus
