Travel Certified Sterile Processing Tech (CSPT) Glens Falls, NY

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Glens Falls, New York. This position offers the chance to support surgical services in a well-established hospital while enjoying the scenic beauty of the Adirondack region.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Glens Falls, NY

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Shift: Evenings, 3:00 PM 11:30 PM

• Schedule: 5x8s, MondayFriday with rotating weekends or holidays as needed

Responsibilities:

• Decontaminate, sterilize, and assemble surgical instruments and equipment

• Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment

• Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization processes

• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

• Collaborate with OR staff to ensure timely availability of instruments

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• Certification required: CBSPD or CRCST (IAHCSMM)

• Minimum of 1 year of recent sterile processing experience

• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterilization standards

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
