Currently seeking a Senior Site Supervisor for a high-end residential general contractor with a presence in Germantown, NY but based in Manhattan (no travel to the city at all). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of high end residential site supervisor experience in either Manhattan or other luxury markets, including a few years managing ground-up, luxury single-family residential projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
- Allocate resources for assigned projects
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
