Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Facilities Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in New York, New York. In this role, you will support various facility operations, including event setup, mailroom tasks, and general office upkeep. This position requires a hands-on approach, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail to interact effectively with clients.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with facility-related tasks such as setting up events and providing general office support.
• Handle physical duties, including restocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and removing trash.
• Monitor and manage mailroom operations to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Walk through office spaces to assess needs and maintain a tidy, organized environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and foster positive interactions with clients.
• Respond promptly to requests and adapt to a reactive work environment.
• Collaborate with the Workplace Experience Manager to address facility needs and priorities.
• Ensure conference rooms are properly set up and stocked for meetings and events.
• Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking and reporting tasks.
• Adhere to business casual dress code, maintaining a clean and detail-oriented appearance.• Previous experience in facilities coordination or similar roles.
• Strong client-facing communication skills with an attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items.
• Familiarity with CMMS and other maintenance management systems.
• Proficiency in tools such as Concur, Kronos Timekeeping System, and About Time.
• Knowledge of budget processes and experience managing resources effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, reactive environment.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a high level of organization.
