An opportunity is available for a skilled Endoscopy RN to support advanced GI procedures at a leading medical center. This role focuses on assisting with ERCP, EMR, and EUS procedures, contributing to the growth of an advanced gastroenterology service line. Candidates with a strong background in these specialized areas of endoscopy nursing will thrive in this dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with relevant experience in Endoscopy
- Proven expertise in advanced GI procedures: ERCP, EMR, and EUS
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the provider and multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to take call approximately once a week and every sixth weekend, with options to switch shifts as needed
- Strong communication skills and reliability to ensure seamless call coverage without service interruptions
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care during advanced GI endoscopy procedures
- Prepare patients and equipment for ERCP, EMR, and EUS interventions
- Monitor patient condition and respond promptly to changes during and after procedures
- Collaborate closely with physicians and support staff to maintain a high standard of patient care
- Participate in call schedule rotations to provide continuous endoscopy services
