At Rapid Roofing (a division of Rapid Home Service Group), were on a mission to

revolutionize the roofing experience with faster timelines, clear communication, and

jobs done right the first time. Were not your average roofing company, and were not

looking for your average hire.

Were looking for a hands-on, organized, people-friendly Project Lead to be the

go-to person on roofing job sites across Long Island. Youll be the key point of contact

between the crew, the office, and the customer making sure everything runs

smoothly from start to finish.

This is a position with room to grow perfect for someone with basic construction

knowledge, great communication skills, and a desire to build a real career in the trades.

What Youll Do

Be on-site daily to monitor progress and support the crew
Serve as the primary contact for homeowners during their roofing project
Confirm materials and labor needed for each job
Handle small tasks or finishing touches to help wrap up projects
Document job progress with photos and checklists
Communicate updates back to the office and escalate issues when needed
Confirm that projects follow contracts, manufacturer guidelines, local/state codes, OSHA, and company safety policies
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Collect final payments and confirm customer satisfaction
Report to the Operations Manager and collaborate with the office team for scheduling and project support

Requirements

Successful previous experience as a manager or laborer in the construction or retail space.

Have a teacher mentality.
Must be of sound personal character and a positive representation of the values of our company.
General knowledge of asphalt shingle roofing systems and replacement processes.
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
Strong organizational skills, able to document project labor and costs efficiently.
Valid driver's license with a CLEAN driving record.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
