Location: Gouverneur, NY 13642
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights – 3x12s (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: $60 – $64 per hour

Note: Candidates must reside 50+ miles from the facility. First-time travelers will not be considered.

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor for a 13-week travel assignment in Gouverneur, NY. This leadership role oversees nursing operations during the night shift, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and effective coordination across departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff across all units during assigned shift

• Serve as the administrative and clinical leader in the absence of senior leadership

• Coordinate patient flow including admissions, transfers, and discharges

• Manage bed assignments and diversion processes

• Lead Rapid Response and Code Blue events

• Oversee crisis intervention and emergency situations

• Monitor, document, and report sentinel events

• Ensure compliance with DPH, TJC, OSHA, and regulatory standards

• Support infection control and isolation protocols

• Assist with admissions, post-procedure/post-surgical care, and transfers to higher levels of care

• Promote workplace safety and patient-centered service excellence

• Maintain high standards of nursing care and quality outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active New York RN License

• Minimum 1 year of House Supervisor or RN Manager experience

• Strong inpatient acute care background

• Experience in code management and crisis leadership

• Thorough knowledge of hospital regulatory and accreditation standards

• Ability to independently manage hospital-wide operations during night shift

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
