Job DescriptionWhat your day looks like

At 6:00am in our Newark, NY facility, you’ll review drawings and job instructions, gather small components, and begin assembling battery and electronic products that power our customers’ applications. You’ll rotate through tasks—hands-on assembly, soldering, welding, running production equipment, preparing wire sets, and performing tests—while recording results in our computer tracking system. Throughout the shift, you’ll keep your station spotless, follow safety procedures, and partner with teammates to hit daily production goals. By 4:30pm, you’ll leave knowing your workmanship met our quality bar—and helped the whole line move efficiently.

Schedule

  • 4 -10 hour shifts (Monday-Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm)
  • Overtime availability required as needed (Friday and/or Saturday 6:00am-2:30pm shift)

What you’ll do

  • Interpret and follow drawings and job travelers to build battery and electronic assemblies to specification.
  • Perform hands-on assembly of small parts; operate machinery; complete wire preparation, soldering, welding, and packaging.
  • Conduct in-process quality checks and final testing; record data via computer tracking.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to meet output targets and deadlines.

What you bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
  • Experience in manufacturing or production preferred.
  • Sharp attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Team-first mindset with clear, positive communication.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with production equipment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Proficiency in Mechanical Assembly Skills.
