💊 Clinical Pharmacist – Hospital-Based
Location: Watertown, NY
Schedule: Rotating 8-hour shifts (Days, Evenings, Occasional Nights)
Weekends: Rotating Weekends Required

We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic pharmacy team. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring safe, effective, and efficient medication therapy for our patients across various hospital units. You’ll rotate through different shifts, including days, evenings, and the occasional night shift—ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their schedule and wants to develop a well-rounded clinical skillset.
🩺 What You’ll Be Doing
- Review and verify medication orders for appropriateness, safety, and efficacy
- Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Provide drug information and consultation to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff
- Monitor patient outcomes and collaborate with providers to adjust therapy when needed
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and hospital guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical education activities
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the hospital EHR
🎓 What You’ll Need
- PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Licensed Pharmacist in New York State (NYS) – active and in good standing
- 1–2 years of experience preferred – hospital or acute care experience a plus, but not required
- Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset
