Physician Hospitalist - Competitive Salary
Job Description
Hospitalist Opening – Rome, New York44 miles from Syracuse### Position Details
- Work Type: Full-Time
- Schedule: 7 on / 7 off (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Patient Volume: 12–15 patients per day per physician
- Team Census: 40–50 patients per day collectively
- ICU: Open ICU with 24/7 intensivist consultation
- EMR: Paragon
- No call responsibilities
- Not accepting Locums, visa candidates, or 1099 candidates
- New graduates welcome (BE accepted within 1 year of eligibility; BC required within 2 years)
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care
- Perform daily rounds, admissions, rapid responses, and codes
- Conduct histories, physicals, assessments, and documentation
- Collaborate with intensivists, specialists, and hospital staff
- Ensure high-quality, coordinated care in a non-trauma hospital setting
- Guaranteed base salary: $250,000 – $275,000
- Starting Bonus: $15,000
- Productivity and quality bonuses available

- CME allowance: $3,250 annually
- Full benefits:
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- New York medical license or willingness to obtain
- Clean malpractice and license history
- DEA, BLS, ACLS, PALS

- Hospital does not reimburse credentialing fees
- Acknowledgment that candidate has not applied directly
- No on-call responsibilities
- Weekends included in regular 7 on / 7 off schedule
