Seeking a Dispatcher/Billing Specialist in our Binghamton branch who is positive, energetic, detail-oriented, highly organized, and reliable with the qualifications, skills, and abilities outlined below to join our team.

Hourly Rate Range: $23-$26 hour DOE

Who we are looking for:

An energetic team player who will be responsible for providing internal and external customer service; process, track, and research claims; coordinate job tickets, process all work orders for payment and service estimate/quotes; and perform a variety of clerical duties to support the billing and general service department operations ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The right individual will possess a positive attitude, computer experience and great attention to detail along with the ability to communicate effectively.

Position is full time, M-F, 1st shift 8am-4:30pm

Prerequisites include Substance testing, profile assessment test and a valid and clean driver’s license.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Process, maintain, and verify all work orders by inputting correct information into computer system including account numbers, purchase order numbers, parts, and summary of work completed and invoice for payment. Post mechanic labor, post hours on timecards, open work orders, maintain records of work performed for billing purposes.
  • Answer phones, take service calls, respond to customer inquiries, dispatch calls to service techs for appointments. Perform related duties as requested to meet business needs for dispatching.
  • Act as a liaison in the resolution of day-to-day administrative and operational problems. Provide direction and communication to Mechanics/Technicians to ensure customer service. Follow up with customers on quality of work performed and to ensure customer satisfaction. Answer product and service questions and resolve problems. Work with accounting to resolve billing questions and issues.
  • Perform other administrative duties as requested to support service operations and staff

Qualification Standards Include:

  • High school diploma or GED and 1-3 years of experience in billing and dispatching and customer service
  • Strong data entry skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and spreadsheet software is required
  • Must have at the time of hire, and maintain throughout employment, a valid NYS drivers’ license free of major infractions.
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork and perform computer data entry.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
