Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg (Telemetry)

Position Overview

Seeking experienced day shift travel RNs for adult Med/Surg telemetry units. Candidates must be comfortable caring for telemetry patients and performing core bedside skills independently. Level I or Level II trauma experience and EPIC EMR experience are highly preferred.

Schedule Requirements

• Day Shift

• Every other weekend required

• Some holidays required

• Excessive time off will not be approved

• Set days of the week scheduling will not be approved

Required Qualifications

• Current New York State RN License (required)

• BLS certification (must be current and maintain certification)

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in the field (required)

• Ability to read and interpret telemetry rhythms (required)

• Ability to start IVs and draw labs (required)

• Strong nursing assessment skills in an acute care setting

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Must not have had professional license/certification suspended or under investigation

• Must not have been named as a defendant in a professional liability claim

• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.

• Must pass pre-employment health clearance

• Subject to drug screening and criminal background check

Highly Desired Experience

• Level I Trauma hospital experience

• EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience
