Job Description
We are seeking skilled Maintenance Mechanics on all shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) to support our food manufacturing facility by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and packaging equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime while adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to ensure optimal equipment functionality.

Follow preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

Assist in the installation of new machinery and modifications to existing systems.

Maintain documentation of repairs, preventive maintenance tasks, and parts usage.

Collaborate with production and sanitation teams to ensure timely equipment availability.

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., GMPs, HACCP) and OSHA standards.

Maintain a clean and organized work area; follow all safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.

3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food or beverage.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, conveyors, pumps, motors, and electrical components.

Familiarity with PLCs, refrigeration systems, and automated machinery a plus.

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
