Job Safety

Safety is vitally important-not only at our facility but also from a personal standpoint. Employees are responsible for understanding and following all safety procedures. Likewise, food safety is a key performance indicator for our operation. Understanding this, GMP and housekeeping procedures are to be followed as part of any job at our facility.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Daily inspection of foot foamers.
  • Daily cleaning of dumpster area.
  • Daily spraying of cottage cheese and cone vat rooms with tri-chloride.
  • Daily inspection and replenishment of hand sanitizer, paper towel, hair/beard net, and earplug stations
  • Environmental surface cleaning of floors
  • Environmental Foam cleaning
  • Weekly fogging of required areas
  • Perform Master Sanitation of pumps and valves according to schedule
  • Clean and sanitize drains
  • Cleaning of conveyors and hallway tracks
  • Replace sanitizer tubs and buckets
  • Stock fill HC-10 pails.
  • Support Environmental Monitoring Program (PEM)
  • Support SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.
  • Maintain all documented information as per SQF requirements.
  • Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
  • Work overtime, as needed, which will require an obligation from you to fulfill.
  • Adapt to new technology as it comes into the department
  • Carry out all additional duties assigned by a supervisor or foreman.
  • Understand and follow all safety procedures, always wear proper PPE, and never put yourself or other employees in harm's way.

Job Requirements

  • Basic English/Math skills
  • Able to meet all safety compliance standards
  • Must be physically fit and without any medical work restrictions to perform the job duties that will be required
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.

The pay range for this position is$20.50—$26 USD
