REACH Program Mission Statement

REACH, through a transformative middle school program, empowers high-achieving young men from underserved communities as Catholic leaders committed to faith, scholarship, and service. REACH is a free summer-and-Saturday enrichment program for middle-school boys designed to enhance students’ academic and leadership skills. Through our advanced curriculum, REACH prepares students to win scholarships and financial aid to the most selective Catholic high schools in the New York City area, including Regis High School.

Available Positions & Position Descriptions

REACH Saturday Middle School ELA Teacher

REACH Saturday Middle School Math Teacher

Saturday teachers will support our program’s mission as a classroom leader and role model, unlocking the potential within our students as intellectual leaders and young men for others.

Each of the above courses consists of two sections with classes ranging from 12-27 students per class. A curriculum with resources is provided. Math & ELA teachers will lead two, 75-minute periods per Saturday. Classes run between 9:00am and 3:00pm.

Other Expectations

  • Supports and is willing to advance the Catholic and Jesuit mission of the school.
  • Works in collaboration with the administration in observing the principles and ideals for which Regis High School stands.
  • Assists with all other duties as assigned by REACH leadership.
  • The school expects one to always conduct oneself in a manner which shall not bring reproach upon oneself or the school.
  • The job description is to be used merely as a guide of expectations rather than an exhaustive list of all duties and competencies.

Compensation, Dates, and Details

Faculty receive a stipend of $200 per Saturday and $200 for completing student evaluations (evaluations are written by Math and ELA teachers only). Returning teachers receive an additional $200 for each consecutive semester that they return during the academic year (capped at $3,000).

The 2025 REACH Fall Session will take place at Regis High School on the following dates:

  • October 18, 2025
  • October 25, 2025
  • November 8, 2025
  • November 22, 2025
  • December 6, 2025
