Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Job Description
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to fill an opening in Smithtown, New York.
Daily Responsibilities For Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
- Conduct comprehensive assessments Effectively manage acute and chronic medical and behavioral conditions Ensure accurate and complete documentation, including ICD 10 conditions
- Monday to Friday 8AM - 5PM EST
Required Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant:
- Active and unrestricted license in New York (NP or PA)
- Needs to have minimum 1 year working experience as an NP or PA (they will not accept new grads with no experience)
- NP: Graduate of an accredited Master of Science Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice program
Preferred Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant:
- 1+ year of clinical experience in practice (long-term care setting preferred)
- Experience in meeting the medical needs of patients with complex behavioral, social and/or functional needs
- Understanding of Geriatrics and Chronic Illness

Pay Details: $85- $95/ Hour
