HVAC Project Manager – Cannon Mechanical

Cannon Mechanical is a dynamic and rapidly growing mechanical contractor serving the New York tri-state area. We specialize in delivering high-quality HVAC construction projects in one of the most challenging and complex building environments in the world. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-driven HVAC Project Manager to join our team.

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years (HVAC Project Management)

About the Role

We are looking for a high-performing, proactive professional capable of running multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, excels at communication, is exceptionally organized, and leverages construction technology to drive efficiency and accuracy.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Manage multiple HVAC construction projects from inception to completion

· Produce and maintain detailed project schedules

· Oversee labor, subcontractors, equipment procurement, and materials

· Communicate effectively with customers, clients, engineers, and representatives

· Maintain a high level of multitasking across project responsibilities

· Understand the complexities of New York City construction

· Manage project billing, receivables, documentation, and change orders

· Represent Cannon Mechanical at jobsite meetings

· Review and approve project documentation, submittals, RFIs, and close-out materials

· Ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality project delivery

Qualifications

· Minimum 5 years of HVAC Project Management experience

· Driven, self‐motivated, and able to manage multiple projects independently

· High proficiency with construction technology (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)

· Very computer competent and adaptable to new software

· Excellent communication skills

· Construction Management or Engineering degree preferred

· Highly organized, team-oriented, and capable of strong professional independence

· Strong problem‐solving abilities and attention to detail
