What You’ll Do

  • Help people grow, learn, and live with dignity.

  • Lead a team to assist with daily activities like cooking, transportation, and personal care.
  • Mentor a team that celebrates progress and makes every day meaningful.
  • Maintain the daily operation of the residence including staff and schedules

Requirements

  • Valid New York State Driver’s License and must maintain it in good standing.
  • Must be Approved Medication Administration Personnel (AMAP). Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Good interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with coworkers, employees, residents and their families.
  • Must be able to maintain the strictest confidentiality
  • Proficiency in the use of a personal computer and appropriate software and E-Mail system
  • Knowledge of equipment typically used by persons receiving services including wheelchairs and adaptive devices.
  • Ability to analyze problems and determine corrective measures

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • High School Diploma or GED.

  • At least three years of managerial experience, preferably with the developmentally disabled population.

Hourly Rate $24.44
