Job Description: Construction Superintendent
We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations and act as the primary liaison between field activities and project stakeholders. This role is essential for coordinating all aspects of on-site work to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality.
Experience with telephone equipment rooms, data centers, electrical infrastructure, and chiller plant installations is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure efficient and high-quality execution.

Coordinate daily work and logistics with subcontractors, vendors, and field crews.

Conduct routine site inspections and daily walkthroughs to ensure work aligns with plans, specifications, and safety standards.

Attend and actively contribute to coordination and production meetings with internal teams and external partners.

Manage and interpret project schedules; identify delays and implement corrective actions.

Enforce quality control processes and ensure compliance with all design and regulatory requirements.

Oversee material deliveries, inventory control, and on-site logistics.

Maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant job site.

Accurately document daily progress, site activities, RFIs, field changes, and photographic records.

Coordinate inspections and facilitate final approvals with local authorities and agencies.
Qualifications:
-
5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar field leadership role, preferably in commercial or infrastructure construction.

Direct experience in MEP-intensive environments, such as data centers or telecom facilities, is strongly preferred.

Proficient in construction project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, PlanGrid, or similar).

Strong leadership, organization, and trade coordination skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with all project stakeholders.

Solid understanding of safety regulations and job site best practices.

Ability to read and interpret construction documents, shop drawings, and specifications.

Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, schedule-sensitive environments.
Preferred Certifications:

OSHA 30

First Aid/CPR
-
NCCER, PMP, or other industry credentials a plus

Familiarity with TIA, NEC, and ASHRAE standards (especially for telecom/data environments)
