About Moore Concrete

Since 1988, Moore Concrete has been a trusted name in the Adirondacks for high-quality concrete work. From foundations and retaining walls to decorative stamped patios and pool decks, our team delivers precision, durability, and craftsmanship. With over 35 years of experience and a reputation for excellence, we’re looking for a Concrete Foreman to lead our crews and keep projects running smoothly.

Responsibilities

As a Concrete Foreman, you’ll be the leader on site—guiding crews, keeping jobs on track, and ensuring our reputation for top-quality work continues.

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of concrete crews on residential and commercial projects.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and project specifications.

  • Plan and schedule work, materials, and equipment needs.

  • Oversee setup and placement of forms, rebar, and concrete pours.

  • Ensure proper finishing techniques, including stamped and decorative concrete applications.

  • Operate or oversee operation of boom trucks, trailer pumps, and related equipment.

  • Enforce safety rules and ensure crews follow PPE and OSHA guidelines.

  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members.

  • Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and clients as needed.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or technical training a plus).

  • 3+ years of experience in concrete construction, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or foreman role.

  • Strong knowledge of concrete practices including forming, pouring, finishing, and curing.

  • Ability to read blueprints and layout projects.

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification.

  • CPR / First Aid Certification.

  • Experience with stamped/decorative concrete techniques.

  • Familiarity with insulated concrete forms (ICF) or board-formed retaining walls.

  • CDL (Class B) a plus for operating dump or boom trucks.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay based on experience and leadership ability.

  • Steady work with a variety of projects—residential, commercial, and decorative.

  • Hands-on training and growth opportunities.

  • Supportive, family-style team environment.

  • Be part of a company with 35+ years of trusted local experience.
