Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Specialty Clinical Pharmacist role is available for a travel assignment in Ithaca, NY, focused on a new Specialty Pharmacy setting. This position provides clinical and dispensing services with an average monthly prescription volume of approximately 50. The role requires close collaboration with healthcare providersprimarily in Oncologyalongside clinical and pharmacy teams, Prior Authorization and Financial Assistance personnel, and transportation support to ensure smooth patient care and medication management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical and dispensing responsibilities within the Specialty Pharmacy
- Collaborate effectively with oncology providers and multidisciplinary teams
- Support prior authorizations and financial assistance processes
- Contribute to patient-centered care through involvement in specialty medication management
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current NY pharmacist license required
- Proven experience in specialty pharmacy settings preferred
- EPIC electronic health record system experience is mandatory
- Exposure to oral oncology pharmacy is a strong plus but not a requirement
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
