Schedule: MondayFriday | 9:00 AM5:00 PM

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Echo Tech for a 13-week contract in Flushing, New York. This role requires strong pediatric echocardiography experience and proficiency with echo equipment and procedures. Candidates must be certified and confident performing diagnostic imaging across a wide range of patient needs.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Completion of an approved Echocardiogram Training Program (required)

• Registered Echocardiography Technologist CCI or ARMS certification required

• Must have pediatric echocardiography experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience as an Echo Tech I

• Proficiency in use of echo equipment and troubleshooting minor technical issues

• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and ability to identify abnormalities

• Basic clerical and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiograms with a focus on pediatric patients

• Identify and report findings to cardiologists for review

• Maintain and operate echo equipment safely and accurately

• Document findings in accordance with hospital policies

• Communicate with patients and families in a compassionate and professional manner

• Maintain equipment and ensure readiness for exams
