Electrical Engineer – MEP
MEP- Electrical Engineering- Electrical Design- MEP Engineering
A growing MEP engineering firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support commercial, industrial, and institutional projects in Manhattan. Openings available for both mid-level and senior engineers (EIT or PE).
- Design power distribution, lighting/controls, and fire alarm systems
- Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and create single-line diagrams
- Produce construction documents, specs, and technical reports
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IBC, and local codes
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary MEP teams
- Support construction administration (RFIs, submittals, shop drawings)
Requirements:
- BSEE required
- 4+ years in electrical MEP design
- EIT required, PE a plus
- Skilled in AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong communication and documentation skills
