Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate machining.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications using measuring tools.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operating procedures.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and quality control processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Salary info:
$30 - $46 / hr
