Qualifications:
- Valid state certification in Special Education
- Experience working with Preschool-age students (3-5 years old)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Proficient in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Must be COVID vaccinated
Location:
- Bronx, NY
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement appropriate lesson plans tailored to the individual needs of students.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Collaborate with classroom staff and specialists to create a supportive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development and progress.
- Support students in social and emotional development, promoting positive behavior.
