Pay: $24 - $27 per hour
Age Group: Preschool (2 1/2 - 4 year olds)

Role and Responsibilities
Curriculum & Lesson Implementation
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum aligned with developmental milestones.
- Incorporate sensory play, music and movement, language development, and hands-on learning.
- Facilitate both structured and unstructured play experiences.
- Observe and adapt activities based on individual child needs and interests.
Developmental Support
- Support language acquisition, emotional expression, gross and fine motor development, and independence.
- Guide and model appropriate behavior and social interactions.
- Encourage self-help skills (dressing, toileting, hand washing).
Communication
- Build trusting relationships with children and families.
- Provide daily verbal or written updates on each childs day (eating, sleeping, toileting, activities).
- Communicate developmental observations and concerns to parents and leadership team.
Classroom Management
- Maintain an organized, clean, and engaging classroom environment.
- Ensure toys and learning materials are rotated and sanitized regularly.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred. At least six months of professional teaching experience required
- Associates degree in Early childhood or Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred along with a study plan for obtaining early childcare certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
- CPR and First Aide certification preferred
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
