Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Gastroenterologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic abilities, proficiency in endoscopic procedures, and excellent interpersonal skills to provide comprehensive care for patients with gastrointestinal conditions. This role involves close collaboration with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients to understand their symptoms and medical history.
• Perform specialized diagnostic tests and procedures, including endoscopy and colonoscopy.
• Analyze patient data and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists, such as oncologists, when necessary.
• Conduct physical, neurological, and orthopedic examinations related to gastrointestinal health.
• Utilize imaging technologies including X-rays, MRIs, and ultrasound for diagnostic purposes.
• Perform surgical procedures within the digestive tract when required.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Provide patient education and follow-up care.

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a three-year Internal Medicine residency.
• Completion of a three-year Gastroenterology fellowship.
• Board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
• Proficiency in endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures.
• Experience with diagnostic imaging tools (X-ray, MRI, ultrasound).
• Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach.
