Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department Observation Unit in Rochester, NY. This unit provides critical observation services to adult patients needing further evaluation before determining if hospital admission is necessary. With 20 to 27 daily patient turnovers and an average stay of 27 hours, this high-acuity unit requires nurses who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional care. The unit is supported by 24/7 provider coverage, ensuring comprehensive, round-the-clock patient care.

Job Details:

• Location: Rochester, NY

• Shifts: 12-hour shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights)

• Contract Type: Travel/Contract

Job Requirements:

• Valid New York State RN License

• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience

• Strong telemetry skills

Certifications:

• BLS (American Heart Association only)

• ACLS (American Heart Association only)
