Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive injury prevention programs
- Conduct detailed athletic injury assessments and evaluations
- Design and supervise rehabilitation protocols
- Provide immediate care and injury management at sporting events
- Collaborate with physicians on treatment planning and progression
- Lead educational sessions for athletes, coaches, and parents
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and injury reports
- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field (Master's preferred)
- Current New York State Athletic Trainer Certification
- Valid NATABOC Certification
- Current BLS Certification (or ability to obtain during orientation)
- Strong clinical assessment and rehabilitation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
