ProCare Therapy is seeking a certified ASL Interpreter (SLI) for a full-time school-based position in Middle Island, NY for the 2024-2025 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an educational setting, providing essential interpreting services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Position Details:

• Location: Middle Island, NY
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday
• Duration: 2024-2025 School Year
• Caseload: Supporting students in a school-based setting
• Certification: Must hold a Certified NYS ASL Interpreter License

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide ASL interpretation for students in classrooms and school activities
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and staff
• Support students' academic and social development
• Collaborate with teachers and special education teams to ensure student success

Requirements:

• Certified NYS ASL Interpreter License
• Experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
