Key Responsibilities for Corporate Events Specialist:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute client-facing events including CLE programs, seminars, webinars, receptions, and special events.
- Partner with Business Development teams, practice groups, and partners to align event strategy with Firm and practice goals.
- Manage all event logistics including venues, vendors, catering, audiovisual needs, and virtual or on-site support.
- Ensure compliance with MCLE accreditation requirements and maintain accurate event data in the Firm’s CRM system.
- Develop event budgets, manage expenses, and oversee contract review and negotiations.
- Track and analyze event performance, providing post-event reporting and recommendations.
- Stay current on industry trends and contribute ideas to enhance event execution and processes.
Requirements for Corporate Events Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in events within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; CRM experience preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
