We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)) to join our Cardiology Practice at Mohawk Valley Cardiology, PC. - Utica. NY 13502
Requirements:
- Cardiology experience is required
- New graduates and 2026 graduates with a cardiology rotation are welcome to apply
Position Details:
- Full-time, Office-based cardiology practice – No Hospital
- Supportive physician leadership
- Opportunity for professional growth within cardiology
- Expected to see 12 patients a day
Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform physical examinations and provide preventative health measures
- Provide counseling and education on lifestyle modifications and self-care
- Prescribe medications and order laboratory tests
- Communicate with other healthcare professionals and specialists to coordinate patient care
- Document patient information, progress, and treatment plans
- Maintain patient confidentiality
Nurse Practitioner (NP) Requirements and Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing
- Current license as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice
- At least two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software
Compensation:
- Starting salary: $135K and up to 160K based on experience and proficiency.
- 21 days PTO
