Position Overview
The Superintendent will lead field operations on large-scale rail and transit projects, overseeing crews, subcontractors, safety, quality, and coordination with agency partners, to ensure immediate and successful project execution. The Superintendent will be executing projects from $60m to $200m+ working closely with multiple agencies and other National General Contractors of Joint Ventures.
- Provide on-site leadership and coordinate day-to-day execution of rail construction, maintenance, safety, and operational activities.
- Supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and union personnel while maintaining a strong safety culture.
- Collaborate with MTA representatives, project managers, and inspectors to ensure compliance with contract requirements and transit standards.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate work activities to minimize service disruptions and maintain project milestones.
- Review work plans, daily logs, quality inspections, and ensure work meets engineering specifications.
- Monitor field performance and implement corrective actions as needed to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
- Enforce compliance with all safety regulations, site rules, and transit system access protocols.
