Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Postpartum / Mother-Baby
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: 8:30 AM – 8:00 PM (11.5-hour Day Shifts)
Schedule: 3 Days per Week | Alternating Weekends
Compensation: $2,380.50 per Week (Local Rate)
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 14-week assignment in a busy Postpartum / Mother-Baby unit in Brooklyn, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic maternal care environment providing specialized care to mothers and newborns.
Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive postpartum care to mother-baby couplets

Conduct newborn assessments and monitor maternal recovery

Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy procedures

Administer and monitor conscious sedation as required

Educate families on newborn care, breastfeeding, and discharge instructions

Collaborate with obstetric and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
Requirements
Experience:
-
Minimum 2+ years of recent Maternal-Child / Postpartum experience

Strong skills in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation
Education:
-
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Licensure & Certifications:
-
Active New York RN License (NYSED verification required)

AHA BLS Certification
-
AHA ACLS Certification
-
NRP Certification
