We are currently hiring a Nurse Educator, to work in our Catholic Charities Disabilities Services agency. As the Nurse Educator, you would be responsible for:
- Responsible for the coordination and implementation of the AMAP Medication Certification class to be held monthly. This includes observing the staff complete their medication pours observations for medication administration certification
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of other educational programs and trainings for clinical and non-clinical staff
- Responsible for maintaining a small residential caseload
- Adheres to all guidelines and regulations set forth by the agency’s business plan(s) and/or other oversight entities such as, but not limited to; OPWDD, CDC, DOH.
Nurse Educator Minimum Salary: $76,000/yr
Nurse Educator Maximum Salary: $78,000/yr
Nurse Educator Schedule: M-F, 8:30am - 5:00pm *some flexibility with hours*
Qualifications:
- Valid NYS Driver’s License
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- A current New York State Registered Professional Nurse License
- 3-5 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
