Registered Dietitian (Remote, Part-Time, 1099 Contractor, 20-30 hours per week)
Our client, a national virtual specialty medical practice, focuses on improving the lives of individuals with chronic conditions by expanding access to care and offering personalized clinical support. They use digital tools and data-driven insights to provide integrated care for patients, especially those with cardiometabolic conditions, working with health plans, providers, and health systems to deliver scalable, evidence-based solutions.
Flexible schedule with the ability to commit to at least 20 hours/week. Must live in the U.S. and be available for a minimum of 3 days per week, including one Saturday per month.
Position: Registered Dietitian (RD)
As a part-time, independent contractor, you'll offer remote nutrition counseling and weight management support to patients, helping manage comorbidities related to obesity under a physician’s supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nutrition counseling via phone, video, chat, or text.
- Manage comorbidities and monitor patient devices remotely.
- Support dosing of anti-obesity medications per protocol.
- Collaborate with physicians and providers.
- Use motivational techniques to encourage positive behavior changes.
- Host webinars and meet program metrics.
Requirements:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credentialed by the Commission of Dietetic Registration.
- State licensure (if applicable).
- CDCES certification preferred.
- Experience with anti-obesity medications and motivational interviewing is a plus.
- Must be tech-savvy and able to work independently.
Scheduling & Pay:
- Flexible hours (Mon-Sat), working 20-30 hours/week.
- Must work a minimum of 3 days per week, including 1 Saturday per month.
- $40/hour for patient care and charting; $35/hour for admin tasks.
- New grads with relevant experience are welcome.
