This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in affordable housing who is passionate about making a direct impact on residents' lives. The role involves managing resident files, performing recertifications, and ensuring compliance with housing program requirements. The right candidate will thrive in a hands-on environment with a variety of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Manage resident files and perform recertifications

Ensure compliance with affordable housing program requirements

Support property operations and assist with day-to-day management

Engage directly with residents to address concerns and provide assistance

Collaborate with maintenance and administrative staff
Qualifications
-
2+ years of experience in affordable housing (tax credit or project-based Section 8)
-
NY Housing Authority background preferred

Strong file processing and recertification knowledge

Ability to manage full on-site processing without compliance team handoff

Excellent communication and organizational skills
