Job Description
What we need
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Electronic Assembly Technician for a temporary position with a minimum duration of 3 months, with the potential to be extended. In this role, you will support the assembly and testing of our Amphion range of edge devices—our proprietary high-tech hardware used globally in industrial settings. You’ll work closely with our hardware operations team to build, inspect, and prepare electronic devices for deployment. What you will do
- Assemble Amphion edge devices, our small electronic firewall for industrial use, including electronic components and mechanical integration
- Perform visual and automated quality inspections to ensure each Amphion device meets specifications
- Ensure each Amphion device is built and configured accurately
- Follow established QA procedures, assembly instructions, and documentation practices
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and inventory of parts
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve assembly or testing issues
- Use Windows-based software for basic data entry, order tracking, and scanning
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support the hardware team
Who you are
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred
- Experience in electronics or mechanical assembly, ideally in a manufacturing or tech environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Comfort working with small parts and hardware components using hand tools and precision instruments
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and documentation protocols
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
- Familiarity with Windows-based tools; handheld scanner experience a plus
