Job Description

Misa Plumbing, a Union company, is seeking a Helper to join the team.

This is a union position. B Division.

Plumber Helper Responsibilities Include Assisting Journeyman with the Following:

Installing, repairing, and maintaining pipe systems, drains, ducts, and related fittings and fixtures for water, sewage, and drainage in plumbing systems
Reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of water supply, waste disposal, and material needed
Installing gas appliances, dishwashers and water heaters, sinks and toilets, measures, cuts, bends, and threads pipes using hand and power tools or machines
Detecting faults in plumbing appliances and systems and diagnoses their causes
Other duties upon request

Plumber Helper Qualifications :

OSHA 30
S12 – S13 Certificates Required
F60 – G60 Certificates Required
Must have a valid and clean driver's license to operate company vehicles

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis
Prolonged standing and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching on a daily basis
Requires a full range of physical motion in order to operate manual and electrically-powered tools and plumbing equipment
Must be able to climb stairs frequently
Work is performed indoors and out-of-doors, occasionally in environments that are dusty, noisy, or which could have work hazards
