MRI Technologist-14 weeks contract
Facility: Elmhurst Hospital Center, Elmhurst, NY
Department: Diagnostic Radiology
Start Date: 11/17/2025 | Schedule: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM | Hours: 35/week | Weekends & Holidays: Alternating
Position Overview:
Elmhurst Hospital Center is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join its high-performing Radiology Department. The ideal candidate will have strong MRI experience in an acute or trauma setting and proficiency with GE equipment.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Active NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license
- ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT certification required
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in an acute Level 1 Trauma Center
- BLS (AHA) preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures with accuracy and attention to patient safety
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment (GE systems) efficiently
- Ensure patient comfort and adherence to all imaging protocols and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to support diagnostic workflows
Training:
Two-week orientation (9 AM–5 PM) including EPIC EMR training.
