A nursing opportunity awaits in Pittsford, NY, offering a rewarding contract role within a 43-bed cardiac medical and telemetry unit. This position involves providing dedicated care on day shifts within a rotating 12-hour schedule, contributing to a dynamic team focused on acute medical-surgical and telemetry patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour day shifts (7 AM - 7 PM and 3 AM - 3 PM rotation)
- 36 to 48 hours per week available
- One weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend
- At least one holiday shift per contract required
- No block scheduling
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active NY RN license is mandatory
- NIH, AHA, and BLS certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year recent acute med-surg/tele experience (preferably 2 years)
- Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years of U.S. work experience
- Willingness and flexibility to float to other units
- Readiness to work charge duties with provided training
Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate and high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced telemetry setting
- Utilize EPIC for accurate charting and documentation
- Adapt to scheduling needs and contribute to unit flexibility
Contract Details:
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Location flexibility: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
