Position: Attorney (Real Estate Associate) (Mid and Senior levels available)

Location: New York, NY

Practice Group: Real Estate

Compensation Range: $260,000 $435,000 (DOE)

Overview:

We are seeking experienced mid-level and senior associates to join our leading and expanding Real Estate practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly respected team on complex and high-profile transactions across various sectors of commercial real estate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent lenders and/or borrowers in mortgage and mezzanine financing transactions
  • Structure and negotiate joint venture equity deals
  • Manage all aspects of acquisitions and dispositions of real estate assets
  • Advise clients on development projects and related transactional matters
  • Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups to deliver comprehensive client service
  • Contribute to team development and mentorship initiatives

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in the applicable jurisdiction
  • 3+ years of relevant transactional experience, ideally within a law firm or in-house legal department
  • Strong background in one or more of the following: real estate finance, joint ventures, acquisitions/dispositions, or development
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Commitment to professional development, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative culture
  • Candidates with non-real estate transactional experience and strong credentials are encouraged to apply

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Annual base salary range: $260,000 to $435,000, depending on experience and qualifications
