About the Role
The Article 31 clinic is an OMH regulated outpatient mental health clinic that supports children, adolescents and adults. The Outpatient Mental Health Therapist is responsible
for providing comprehensive clinical services to persons supported through the Article 31 Clinic. The individual is required to work in-person from our Jamaica location during hours of operation, which includes evenings and weekends.
What You’ll Do
- Provide individual, group, couple and family therapy.
- Meets the minimum requirement of completing 20-25 hours of billable sessions per week.
- Properly supports persons supported through crisis intervention.
- Administers appropriate evidence based and culturally informed interventions (i.e. CBT, TF-CBT and Motivational Interviewing).
- Completes Intakes and provides internal and external resource linkages and referrals.
- Completes clinical assessments, treatment plans and progress notes in a timely manner.
- Engage in professional development and certification and training opportunities and participate in reflective supervision.
- Other related duties.

Your Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work or a related field AND licensure as a New York State Mental Health Provider.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to work in-person in New York City (NY)
- Ability to travel to other Rising Ground sites (if required)
