Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
\n• On-call required with average of 8-10 call shifts per month including 1 full weekend of coverage
\n• Must have 2 years of experience with both Cath Lab and IR Lab experience required
\n• First-time travelers accepted
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
\n• New York state license required in hand to submit
\n• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
\n• 40 hours of orientation provided
\n• Scrubs are provided
\n• Must have experience with interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, diagnostic catheterizations, cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, percutaneous coronary interventions
\n• Required skills include interventional radiology procedures such as liver biopsy, paracentesis, embolization, nephrostomy, chest tube placement, central venous access
\n• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
\n• Facility has 2 rooms for procedures
\n• Candidates within 75 miles of facility are not accepted
\n• Floating to other units required

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiovascular and interventional radiology department providing advanced cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. The facility offers both diagnostic and interventional cardiac services along with specialized interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, drainage procedures, and vascular interventions. The department maintains modern equipment and provides interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
