Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Pay:Starting at $44+ per hour,
Summary:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher for a position in our Special Education department
Responsibilities:
- 6th Grade ICT (Integrated Co-Teaching) - full time, full year position. 6th Grade ICT.SETSS (co-teaching alongside general education teacher) and holding small groups for students.
- 4th-8th Grade SETSS - full time, full year position. Students in grades 4-8 need small group (SETSS/ Resource Room) pull out instruction. Group size will be no more than 8 students at a time. Schedule is created and awaiting a certified special education teacher.
- 5th Grade ICT (Integrated Co-Teaching) - full time, full year position. 5th Grade ICT.SETSS (co-teaching alongside general education teacher) and holding small groups for students.
- 8th Grade ICT (Integrated Co-Teaching) - full time, full year position. Integrated Co-Teaching of about 10 students with IEPs in a general education classroom (classroom has typically around 25 students) alongside a general education teacher. Small group pull out sessions as well, no more than 8 students at a time in small group pull out.
Requirements:
- NYS special education certification to include grade 7. (grades 7-12, grades K-12, grades 1-6 with extension up)
