A2 Development Group is seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated professional to work on managing a portfolio of commercial properties. This position blends hands-on property management with administrative coordination to ensure smooth operations, responsive tenant service, and efficient property oversight. This is a great role for someone with a strong desire to pursue a career in commercial real estate.

On-Site / Field Work (approx. 50%)

• Conduct regular inspections of properties, ensuring buildings, grounds, and equipment are properly maintained.
• Coordinate and supervise vendors, contractors, and maintenance personnel.
• Respond promptly to tenant repair requests and service issues.
• Verify completion and quality of maintenance work and capital projects.
• Monitor compliance with safety, ADA, and building code requirements.
• Assist with tenant move-ins, move-outs, and space condition documentation.

Office / Administrative Work (approx. 50%)

• Track rent collections, lease expirations, renewals, and delinquencies.
• Maintain property management records and tenant correspondence in digital systems.
• Prepare work orders, purchase orders, and vendor invoices for approval.
• Support lease administration, including abstracting terms and maintaining accurate files.
• Assist with budgeting, operating expense reconciliations, and vendor bids.
• Generate monthly property reports and assist with ownership updates.
• Interface with accounting staff to ensure accurate billings and payments.

Qualifications

• 0-2+ years of experience in commercial property management or related field.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (Yardi, or equivalent).

• Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage competing priorities.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
