Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school district in Liverpool, NY for the upcoming school year. This contract position spans a full academic year, with an additional maternity leave coverage role from September to December. The position involves delivering comprehensive speech therapy services across multiple schools within the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to caseload management and documentation using the districts IEP system.
- Travel between assigned schools as part of an itinerant caseload model with paid travel time.
- Collaborate with educational staff, families, and district administration to support students communication development.
- Maintain compliance with all credentialing and administrative requirements, including timely participation in paid team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology.
- Ability to support a full caseload in a K-12 educational environment.
- Willingness to provide services onsite; teletherapy is not an option at this time.
- Newly licensed clinicians (CFY) are not currently being considered for this role.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, 7.25 hours per day (36.25 hours per week).
- Schedule aligned with the school calendar.
