Job Overview
A medical center is seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist for a full-time, day-shift contract assignment. The therapist will deliver prescribed radiation treatments accurately and safely while providing compassionate care to oncology patients.
Responsibilities

Administer radiation therapy treatments according to physician prescriptions

Accurately position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment

Verify treatment plans and ensure precise dose delivery

Monitor patients during treatment and report any adverse reactions

Maintain detailed and accurate treatment documentation

Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and oncology staff
-
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and radiation regulations

Provide patient education and emotional support throughout treatment
Required Qualifications
-
Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
-
Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Radiation Therapist
-
ARRT (T) certification required or eligible
-
Strong attention to detail and patient-care skills
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
-
Prior experience in a hospital or oncology center setting

Experience with modern radiation therapy equipment and systems
