Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site assessments to evaluate existing boiler systems and repair needs
  
  
• Prepare accurate estimates for labor, materials, subcontractor services, and equipment
  
  
• Review job specifications and identify risks, code requirements, and safety considerations
  
  
• Collaborate with internal teams to support project planning and customer communication
  
  

Qualifications

• 35 years of estimating experience (boiler repair or mechanical contracting preferred)
  
  
• Hands-on background in boiler installation, repair, or maintenance
  
  
• Strong understanding of fuel systems (oil, gas, dual-fuel) and combustion equipment
  
  
• Knowledge of steel and cast-iron boilers, piping systems, and related components
  
  
• Familiarity with ASME and NBIC codes, plus local building and safety regulations
  
  
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelors in mechanical engineering, construction management, or related field preferred
  
  
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
  
  
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
