Position Summary
As a Medical Technologist, youll play an essential role in delivering top-quality care. Using your skills and expertise, youll perform accurate laboratory tests, operate state-of-the-art equipment, and apply scientific principles to analyze and correct deviations from expected results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform precise specimen analysis and report results following established protocols.
- Complete QC logs, preventive maintenance, and daily operational tasks to ensure smooth lab functioning.
- Assist with the training and mentoring of new personnel, contributing to the growth of the team.
- Continuously evaluate work processes and make recommendations for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or Science-related studies.
- Valid NYS License for Clinical Laboratory Technologist (or provisional).
- ASCP MT certification (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of generalist experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
